Growing Cincinnati craft brewery, MadTree Brewing, announced Monday the addition of Adam Lane, an industry veteran with over 15 years of experience in marketing and sales, as their new Sales Director. Adam will be responsible for leading the MadTree sales organization, spearheading chain sales, and leading MadTree’s entry into new markets once their new $18M brewery is completed this winter.
“I am honored to be joining the MadTree family,” said Lane. “I was drawn to their community focus and solid brewing foundation built on a scientific approach and a laser focus on beer quality that reminds me so much of some of the true craft pioneers.” Lane continued, “I am also excited to lead a passionate team of sales people into a new phase of strategic growth.”
Most recently, Adam served as a Kroger National Account Manager for Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. He also spent eight years at Kroger in a variety of roles, including: Beer Category Manager, Marketing Manager, and Brand Manager. Other experience includes work at Eagle Foods, Bridge Worldwide, and Northlich. Adam received his MBA from The Ohio State University and his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
“I’m really stoked to have someone with Adam’s pedigree leading sales for us,” said Brady Duncan, MadTree co-founder. “I’m confident Adam will help MadTree grow sustainably and while furthering the mission to be one of the most respected breweries in the region.”
About MadTree Brewing Company
Cincinnati’s MadTree Brewing made history when they opened in 2013 by becoming the first modern craft brewery to can its beer in Ohio. They are currently constructing a new $18M brewery in Cincinnati’s Oakley neighborhood set to open Winter 2016/2017. MadTree is known for focusing more on great tasting beers rather than following traditional brewing style guidelines. Their award-winning beers are distributed throughout Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Toledo, Athens and Northern Kentucky.
