Fifty West Brewing Company will be celebrating its 4th birthday on Saturday, November 26th. In celebration of four great years, they will be devoting that weekend to release new items to craft beer lovers of all varieties. To begin, there will be a double bottle release party on Saturday at their Production Works facility.
Co-Founder Bobby Slattery shared, “We are happy to be celebrating our success over the past four years and excited to see what the future holds.”
The first beer, 10&2 Barleywine, is a Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine, and won the gold medal in the Barleywine category of the 2016 World Beer Cup. The second beer, Going Plaid Scotch Ale, won a bronze medal in the Scotch Ale category at the 2016 Great American Beer Festival.
Blake Horsburgh, brewmaster at Fifty West, said, “I’m ecstatic about having the chance to bottle more beers! The more we bottle, the more people can try what we have to offer. And I’m especially proud that this release includes two of our award winning beers.”
In addition to the two bottle releases, Fifty West will be making Christmas packages available for the first time on the 26th. New holiday merchandises will also be released such as Fifty West branded bottle openers, Punch You in the EyePA snifter glasses, a new hoodie design, and Punch You In the EyePA T-shirts.
The final part of the birthday celebration weekend is a fall-themed Brewers’ Brunch with Mad Moon Cidery. Fifty West will team up with Mad Moon Cidery to pair brunch food with their cider and Fifty West’s beer. The Brewers’ Brunch will be on November 27, at the Brewpub. Limited tickets are on sale at fiftywestbrew.com.
About Fifty West Brewery
Founded in a former roadside speakeasy on US Route 50 heading west into the city of Cincinnati, Fifty West Brewing Company first opened its doors in November of 2012. Since then, one thing has remained the same. Every time you have a Fifty West beer, you know it was handmade in small batches with a focus on the four virtues we hold closest to our hearts: craftsmanship, tradition, innovation, and patience.
