Pete Rose is being inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame in 2016.

Cincinnati craft brewery, Christian Moerlein, announced it is excited to host Chris Felix Fine Art for the Third Annual Countdown to Opening Day Art Show at the Christian Moerlein Brewing Co. Malt House Taproom.

The event starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, and will feature sports artist Chris Felix, as well as the “Ace of Lace” Justin Stearns and live music from the Oh Brother band.

$1 from each pint sold will benefit The Reid Rizzo Foundation in memory of Reid Rizzo, an aspiring Major League baseball player who died in 2012 from cardiomyopathy.

The pièce de résistance: Felix will have a 40” by 50” painting of Pete Rose that one lucky baseball fan will win and be able to head home with that night.

Felix will have prints of his art for sale, as well as signed hardcover copies of the “Cincinnati Reds Legends” for fans to buy. Felix will also have signed copies of the new “Legends of Giants Baseball” book.

Stearns – an expert in baseball gloves and repair – will be on hand to help with any baseball glove repair needs, and band Oh Brother will take the stage at 8 p.m. to jam out with all the thirsty baseball fans.

Celebrate the start of the 2016 season with great beer and great art for a great cause!
