This April 28th, farmhouse ales from more than 30 American craft breweries will pour from funky taps on the South Slope in Asheville, NC, as Burial Beer Co. hosts the 5th Annual Sharpen the Blades Saison Fest.
Like each year prior, Burial will release a special Saison in honor of the season and the festival. This year, a beautiful version of their Garden of Earthly Delights Mixed Culture Saison will be the celebratory beer. This Blonde Saison was fermented with a house mixed culture and aged in oak puncheons. It was re-fermented on Blood Orange, Carolina Beets and Rayburn Farms’ rosemary and turmeric, and bottle conditioned in 500ml bottles.
Purchasing one of two VIP ticket packages to Sharpen the Blades, which went on sale March 30 and are in limited supply, guarantees you get a bottle, plus discounted entry and an hour head start on entry to the fest.
Bolo is an American Brown Ale brewed with a minimum of 7lbs per barrel of raw coconut every time for easy drinking with an abundance of sweet tropical goodness. Now it’s in 12oz cans so you can stay cooler, longer.
