As a craft beer company known for innovation, Dogfish Head Brewery’s founder and owner, Sam Calagione, got creative with the announcement of its 2016 schedule yesterday by livestreaming it on Periscope.

According to the Brewers Association, Dogfish Head was America’s 13th largest craft brewer in 2014. In 2015, they’re celebrating 20 years of brewing tasty – often high gravity – suds. Sticking with its reputation for producing unique, big beers, it released an anniversary brew, Higher Math (20% ABV), to commemorate the milestone.

A couple of other big things happened for Dogfish in 2015, like the launch of the craft beer magazine, Pallet, and Sam’s web series collaboration with First We Feast called, “That’s Odd, Let’s Drink It.”

There’s no doubt the craft beer universe is excited to see what Dogfish and Sam have planned for 2016.
